Записки творческого человека. О духах и туманах

Что такое плохие духи? Это когда в автобусе, где душно и кто-то испортил воздух, они пахнут, как освежитель воздуха в туалете.

'Yamato Nadeshiko' anime ~ nantonaku harasho!

While watching, I've caught myself thinking several times whether the anime is more hilarious than the drama or vice versa.
But here's the deciding factor...
goth-goth-loli-loli!

story and characters
There are different kinds of shoujo anime. Precisely, the nothing-except-fanservice one, and the watcheable one. Every new shoujo anime we see is a mystery.
First you get to see a bunch of hot naked men in the very opening.

Then you notice that they have their lips coloured
And you panick already, because this is some extreme fanservice you're not in favour of.
And you wonder how easily the guys accepted Sunako as their house-maid actually. How about after the test???
And then you realise that you can rest assured. Becuase this is a comedy. Because anime directors without sense of humour would'n let 'bishounen' guys be drawn as white figures.
Or black lines.
Because people without sense of humor wouldn't let their characters realise the situation they are in,
and realising the genre they're in,
and there aren't many shoujo heroines reciting in English in a low voice,
and it's not widespread to recognise a mushroom because
not because there is a crown painted carefully on it.
There is shoujo anime for girl who want to have a nosebleed seeing beautiful 'bishounen' guys before them, and anime about a girl who has nosebleed seeing 'bishounen' guys near her every single day, and still being much more normal than many other shoujo heroines would. Because when
she does not cry or be astonished or try to prove the opposite.
There's shoujo for 'KYAAAA' and shoujo for fun.

music
I would say, the background music is nothing special, but listen to the OPEDs closely. Kiyoharu, the singer, turned out to be a 1968-born rock-star, famous for participating in rock-bands of 90s. That's probably why the songs sound like something very similar, something close and nostalgic.

graphics
is not something you pay much attention to in this anime

voice acting
And here comes something that can either save an anime or make it a failure. I guess, it's neither this time, but let's congratulate the creators that it's not the latter. All the voices are to the point, and I think we couldn't wish for anything better.

'tatta hitotsu no koi' ~ mysteries of Japanese doramas

I was thinking how to write about this dorama. what to describe, what to say? well, now it turns out it is a collection of mysteries and hocus-pocus.

story
this is a story about pure love that overcomes all possible obstacles. or no?
the story flow was so weak that I was about to drop in the middle and possibly only music made me watch until the end

music
the soundtrack, I am sure, is one of the best - at least among those I've heard. made by Ike Yoshihiro, it is a collection of emotional works, and the main theme sung by Sasja Antheunis, as far as I can understand, were really memorable. the ending song by KAT-TUN was, however, just you average 'kind song about life'.

acting
among all actresses that I see in Japanese doramas there are only a few that look like actresses at all to me. and Haruka Ayase is certainly out of this list. I must say, I wasn't impressed by anybody in particular, including the cute boy playing the Hero's younger brother, even though Japanese children ofter attract me with their adult-like behaviour. maybe only Tanaka Koki was just a bit amusing
I still can't get the stereotypical Japanese images - I mean, an unusual, attractive girl must always keep her lips in the shape of a butterfly?
and a cool guy doesn't take an umbrella or put on something when it rains?
and a girl who is almost to part with her lover forever cries like this?

conclusion
but this was only the beginning. here is what I understood while watching:
1. a girl running to meet with her lover always wears high heels so that she can fall down to show how fast and desperately she runs. sneakers? even though she knows she will have to run fast? that's not comme il faut. no, no, no
2. but that's nothing in comparison with a guy who runs after a bus. he runs at the speed of 20-30 kmph easily, because love helps him. obvisouly for the same reason his voice becomes penetrating through any substance which makes it possible to reach o the girl who is inside the bus, moreover sitting in the middle. applying physics to a dorama? no, no, no
to be honest, after 9 long and boring episodes where I couldn't find any feelings between the Hero and the Heroine, to say nothing of any chemistry,  my reaction to the final developments was like
and unfortunately, the way they reunited wasn't really impressing, too. I must be the wrong person to watch doramas like this. no, no, no
